Buffett finished the song and said his goodnights aswe were just passing
the side of the stage. We get to the gates out to the parking lots and
they're closed. Locked tight. I had JUST been telling MIke how Jimmy "hauls
ass" off the stage to jump on the bus and get outta Dodge, when whattya
know.....here comes a police escort, followed by a huge bus and a row
of about 6 white vans, than
more cops. Guess who!
Considering
the fan base Jimmy Buffett has, it comes as no surprise that his post-show
activities involve fleets of white vans.

Mountain area in Arizona: 2 weeks ago approx 1500 residents rec’d mailing
from the Dept of Interior / US Forest Service, US BLM and US Postal Service
giving NOTICE that they were subject to a possible future “20 minute
notice of evacuation”. Instructions were brief: they are to take only
identifying documents (passports, licenses,
birth records, etc.), any cash on hand, no mention of personal items or
clothing. They are to proceed to a specific rendezvous point in their area,
whereupon white vans would transport them to “holding areas”
(and subsequently to temporary housing?).

Was I the only one who only saw two coffins being moved from the boat to
the 2 white vans? Maybe I missed the third, but at the time, I wondered
if they had put male body parts in one coffin, and all others in one.
The
most recent Kennedy tragedy. Government conspiracy? Mafia involved? NATO
cover-up? The white vans don't skip a beat.

Hwy., and Clairmont Road last night. This is like a disease with no known

- Dozens of poor and homeless people were paid $10 each to cast absentee
ballots in a Miami election already tainted by allegations that dead voters
participated, the Miami Herald said Sunday. The newspaper said two men
recruited the voters at a church parking lot where the homeless often
gathered. They were asked to show voter registration and Social Security
cards, then driven in white vans to the Miami-Dade County elections

Additional Info: The City of Tempe has recently contracted with a firm to
provide Photo Radar. White vans with labels on
the sides and warning signs on the sidewalks have been were seen on baseline
road between Kyrene and Price.

don't give a shit. They're like a man who has been given a month to live,
and means to go out with an almighty binge. They don't care about other
traffic, they'll crunch your side mirror as soon as cut you up, and they
certainly don't care about their own engine, tyres, gearbox and the rest.
In fact, some seem to see it as a challenge to lunch their White Van
as soon as possible. They'll belt your side mirror with theirs, and lurch
past in a haze of oily smoke flicking fag ends, V signs, and often both.

I shoved my foot down, and carelessly laced them up. I stood, and briskly
skated to the foot of the driveway. Then I veered away from Taylor's house,
and jumped a curb into the street. I turned around just in time to see the
Hansons' white van pull out of the driveway and speed off in the

Tas Police recently trialled laser on the Tasman Bridge (5 lane commuter
)in Hobart. They connected it to a laptop to record only speeds and volume
of traffic as it is not a legal speed enforcement device until legislation
is passed.
Devonport ( generally a large white van ):
1. Stoney Rise Road - just into 60kmh zone heading east on LHS behind bushes.
2. Victoria Bridge - 100m after East Devonport lane merges when heading
east along highway. Is on RHS behind trees ( very difficult to see when
heading east, more obvious ( but can only see the camera and not much else
w/o looking when heading West ) or on LHS of above in gully between highway
and sliproad for East Devonport underneath trees.
This
is a bit long I know, but worth it if only to know of these activities
in Tasmania involving trees and bushes.
